I’ve had people ask me to rsvp for them because they don’t have an account. It won’t let me do it again. But I need to add 6 attendees if someone can help me out here.

    Thanks, Rick

    Thanks Tim,

Wish you could be there to hang out with the other racers. This will be an excellent oppurtunity to meet and mingle. Do some bench racing, share some tuning information and so on.

    Thanks for offering.

I don’t think it’s legal to smoke at any eatablishment in Denver county. If people want to smoke, they can go outside.

    Craig can you confirm this?

    Thanks, Rick

    Hey Paul,

Thanks a million for the new helmet!

Nice gesture for someone you don’t know. I’ve had some conversation with Paul and he has a lot of years of racing under his belt and will be a formidable competitor, right out of the gate. Tag Masters guys have another worthy opponent.

Look forward to racing and hanging out Paul.

    Hey,

Mike, you might try posting on Ekn.

    Well racers,

The gang at Grand Junction Motor Speedway have offered their support as well. The Cook family have a great offering that should help raise good money for the Reed family! How does this sound?

1full race weekend at GJMS (CSC Series)
    INCLUDES:
1 free set of MG tires
1 Entry fee (Sat & Sun)
    1 Pit Spot 2 days
    1 test and tune Friday
    2 pit passes weekend
    TOTAL- $500 value…

Sounds like a complete race weekend to me. The whole banana. 2 full Csc races pretty much covered?

Man, nearly a third of the Csc season is in here. (yes both race days & crew passes are included) You pay gas money to get there and have the time of your life, pick up any consumables, race fuel, extra tires, extra pit spots etc… Then race your butt off.

    Nice contribution Stacey!

    Thank you so much!

    Thank you to the Elliots,

Chuck, Denise and Marc are so thoughtful to donate this excellent chassis to the fund raiser. So very nice of this great family to contribute this awesome offering!

Well race fans… Looks like we are going to have a complete Rotax FR125 / Rbi AR2 chassis with front brakes to offer as a “ready to run” complete package. These are not just left overs, but very capable motor and chassis. We will assemble and some lucky racer will walk away with a front running, capable package!

This chassis brought down some of the best Pro drivers Colorado has seen, in one of it’s last outings!

    Hows that sound?

This package will be on display at the 500 get together!

Be there to support Bob. Take this potent package home with you!

    Thanks again to the Elliots!

Rick is this somthing we can win, along with IMI’s great offer????

That is awesome. Cant wait for this party!!!!

Of course you can win this Tony. And more than likely for a pretty good price. It may be the single best thing you ever do for your racing program. You can’t believe how much you can gain from someones years of high level competition. And a whole day grind you into a better driver. It was probably the best money I’ve spent in racing. It would have taken a lot of tires and fuel to figure out some of the sruff we learned that day, that’s for sure.

Look forward to seeing you Tony, it’s building into something special.

I would say “I can’t wait” too, but this thing is going to sneak up on those putting it together.

    Thanks, Rick

Will do both….. I might be able to find a watch to auction off- I don’t think hauling a load of timbers down there to auction will work too well-

Aj is unable to post on the forum for some reason. He asked me to post for him.

Kartworks has generously offered a one on one, driver development day!

This is something we did 2 1/2 years ago and may be the best money I’ve spent since starting Romans driving career. A complete day, uninterupted with a National level driver can make a huge impact to your ontrack performance and technique. We started early in the morning and reviewed all facets of driving and technique. We started by going over the kart and reviewing safety items and the current set up on the kart. We discussed what changes we were going to make and the effect and theory of these changes. Next was a track walk. Discussing lines, not just the race line but overtaking lines, qualifying lines, rain lines, techniques for overtaking and not allowing a repass etc…

Then the part of making laps started. He observes your current abilities and approach to driving for a handfull of laps. Then the coaching begins. Suggestions are given to the driver, then you go apply them. this repeats many many times. Changes are made to the chassis along the way. You’ll be coached on using your body and hands in ways you may not have thought of. At the end of the sessions, you debrief. After all this we were worn out. I told Roman that him and I were going to wring every drop out of the money we spent to have this oppurtunty and we did. Roman walked away being a 25% better driver. And it showed. Roman was voted the “most improved driver” in the Csc and Won his first State Championship that year, being able to sit out the last race by previously clinching. It was something else.

This would benefit a driver who already has several hundred laps more than someone who is new and just needs to get their feet under them. This carries a value of $500 and you can milk every bit of information from Aj that you can obsorb! :~

So driver, bring your tuner and ask questions you might not have felt comfortable asking other racers. This is the time to pick up information that is very valuable to your program and future success.

Thank you Kartworks and Aj for your generous offer.

This thing is really going to be fun and good for the Reeds.

    Thanks again,

    Rick
