Better weight class? What do you consider a better weight class? Please cast your vote at the above links. 🙂

I strapped on 20 pounds last year to move up to the heavy class and the kart felt very sluggish. Obviously when the horsepower is low the extra pounds make a huge difference in power to weight ratios. I ended up taking the weight back off and stayed with the medium class.

Are you guys still planning to run MG Reds for the Lo206 class? I would love to race both series this summer but the racing budget won’t allow me to buy 3 new sets of tires.

    thanks

Funny, I was thinking a crowd funded kart track too! I’m just thinking I’ll be putting a lot of miles on my pickup this summer driving to GJ to race.

Searched for go kart on gizzogle and it came up with a wikipizzle result.

A go-kart (sometimes known as a “go-cart” or just kart) be a lil’ small-ass four-wheeled vehicle. Go-karts come up in all shapes n’ forms, from motorless models ta high-powered racin machines, some, like Superkarts, bein able ta beat racin rides on long circuits.

Clutch clarification in the 2015 briggs lo206 rules. Also, fuel pumps must be stock b&s pumps now.

    a. Novice class must use the supplied Max-Torque clutch, part #555727. No alteration to the clutch is allowed, except springs.
    b. Junior 1, Junior 2, Senior, and Masters Classes can run any rim centrifugal clutch with a maximum of 9 springs and 6 shoes. No alteration to clutch allowed, except springs. Clutch coolers are not allowed.
