He is on a roll! He deserves it. Very committed to being a champion. I hope to de-rail his plans, but have a HUGE hill to climb. Keep it up Scott!

Yep, thats what happened. Was running 6th, Bonilla stuffed Seesman into the barrier in one of the chicanes, and I had nowhere to go. It was a shame. Only 8 laps into a 20 lap race. Plenty of racing ahead of us. We were in a 7 kart pack that checked out from the rest of the field. Bonilla continued to 4th. The other 3 guys wrecked somewhere else on the same lap behind us. I had a blast racing in my first Rotax event, running with the Bad Jose’s from FTK.

Colorado did great! Congrats to Ben, Scott, and Jack. :co

I am with you Terry. AJ Foyt, greatest american born racer, will pass away one day and no one will ever know or care. But, Dale Earnhardt SR. is still a household name. Pathetic!

I dreampt of being the field of 33 as a child too. I was fortunate to participate in the 500 for 12 years. Now my racing dreams are just to beat Falcone!

    see everyone at the track!

    What a race!

This event was a true challenge on every level. I cannot express how much “miserable fun” I had. This was a truly a GREAT racing experience. Congratulations to the Karting Coach team and their drivers Mike Weatherman, Mark Lubischer, Logan Kirk, David Zippie, Anthony Giannone, and Dale Kisler-Collins.

I personally want to thank Doghouse Racing/Team Urban. Mike, Sam and the Urban family, John, Jack and the Bradley family, Mike, Tyler and the Edwards family, Dave Z, Tyler and Lori Hinton, Tim Otto, Robert Hanley, Mike Burrell, Barry Lewis, Stacey Hill, and my wife Paula for all the outstanding driving, mechanics, and support.

This is a great challenge that any karter, tuner, or enthusiast must participate in.There is so much involved to go 24 hours. If you have a kart, some friends, and the need for a challenge, I encourage you to put a team together for next years race. You might have a kart that you cant sell, or dont have time to race sitting around. Freshen the engine, build the kart to last and come have fun.

Oh yeah, BIG thanks to Jim and crew for putting on the show!

Absolutely a blast on sunday! Ronnie, Mike, and Scott were tough hombre’s to deal with. but the best part of it all is the respect of the competitors on and off the track. This is what karting is about. I have never enjoyed karting as much as I have in Colorado. And this is all primarily related to the people I race with/against. You guys and gals are the best.

Thanks to Mike Urban for this awesome opportunity to enjoy some days in the sun. I also want to thank the promotors, track owners, organizers, participants, and everyone for supporting karting. I also need to thank Mike and Kurt Burris for their continued support since 1984.

See you at the 24 hours at The Track.

It all started with my Grandpa Hal Robson. He was a multiple time west coast sprint car champion in the late ’30’s early ’40’s. He was also succesful in midgets. He went back east in 1946 and won many sprint car races, especailly on the 1/2 mile high banks. He also qualified for the Indy 500 3 times in 1946, 1947, and 1948. My grandfather was the first guy to bring a gentleman by the name of Howard Gilbert back to the 500 for his first time. Howard was known later in his career as AJ Foyt’s engine builder.

My grandpas brother, my great-uncle George, was also a succesful west coast racer. George raced Indy in 1941 and 1946. He won the 500 in 1946, as well as other 100 lap big car races towards the national championship. George was killed later that year in Georgia and wound up 2 nd in the national championship standings posthumously.

My dad raced hydroplanes in the ’60’s until My mom made him stop and raise a family. I grew up 15 minutes from Ascot Park and 1 hour from Riverside Raceway. My dad and I were always at a race. Years later my dad and I started karting. I ran around with Parnelli Jones’ kids PJ and Page, as well as the Pedregon Brothers. From these friendships I started at Simpson and was the director of Open Wheel Racing throughout the ’90’s

I am fortunate to be able to lived the life in racing that I have, and to be a part of true racing pedigree.
