ParticipantGeorge, Just for clarification the CSC used TAGUSA as a basis for the classes this past season. We didn’t just start it with no guidelines. I remember distinctly using their info as a starting point last year at the drivers meeting at IMI. Brad took the printout from me and used it as a baseline for discussions on modifying it to fit what the racers wanted. Not what he or JB or anybody else wanted but what the racers wanted.
Don’t make it sound like CSC has never heard of TAGUSA. We affilliated with the concept while you were still figuring out what TAG meant.Rusty

ParticipantYou honestly think what made the TaG series so popular and successful is, and I quote Chaz from the banquet, “we just went ahead and did it” we did not wait to submit anything to anybody, wait for any homologation, ask for approval from that sancitoning body, we did it to work with many of the motors that were out there, and at the end of the season, it was a premere class, and i know it will be very successfull next season becuase all the TaG racers have the balls to try new things. I was excited when i was at the first meeting, knowing what i was doing this sport for, what class i was going to run, and above all, learning what was in store, that helped me very much in making a successfull season.

Cheat me one time , shame on you……..cheat me twice, shame on me! I wouldn’t be caught dead having coffee with a thief and that goes for JB too. He cheated me once, along with a long list of others…….never again.
There are many out there that have been and are still involved in the CRE program and they appreciate it for its purpose and intent and I am not going allow a mob mentality on this forum deter me from the efforts.I have talked with SKUSA, many times about all the issues you attempt to bring up and you couldn’t be more wrong. I have also talked with NKA many times about the insurance and specifically about each of the tracks in Colorado. I can assure everyone that every race last year in the CSC was fully covered as was all the races in the local programs at IMI, Bandimere and Grand Junction. Why do you think NKA put their name on the series?
Last year we used the TaG USA rules and weights as a guideline for our classes. We just added a bit more weight so that we didn’t have to run a light and heavy class. I had the series sanctioned by TaG USA so that any racer who wanted could go to TaG USA national festivels this coming year.
You have now called JB and Brad a thief in an open forum but you are unwilling to sign your name to it. Is it a lie!
“….A long list of others…..”, a little paranoid out there in the planes are we? While you use the cremotorsports name, YOU ARE NOT LOGGED IN ON YOUR POSTS. The email doesn’t work and it would if you were logged in! And sign your name to your posts. We do.

ParticipantI have never bragged about ripping off SKUSA for insurance, I had nothing to do with Gradys paperwork for his races. I have never run a race for SKUSA, how could I rip them off? I have never had any contact with the “home office”. Grady was the only one who had any contact with the “home office”. Grady went out of his way to count every racer, spectator, employees, even my dogs for insurance.
You are such an a-hole, stay at your track by yourself LITTLE MAN, I would not even concider letting you in CSC. You are nothing but poison to anything you touch. You will not poison our series with your involvement. It would only be a matter of seconds before you would try to take over our series with your BS. JB, Stacy, and myself started this series and we are the ones who determine who we will let in, you will not get my vote even if you managed to pull your head out of your a–. I am sure that JB feels the same way. When was the last time you paid rent on the land you do not own and the track that does not even have a legal permit from the county for operating, you are the outlaw. You call JB and myself thiefs, when have I cheated you? Does your long list include Carrio, Grady, Doug Welch, JB, Mike P, Chaz, Rusty and anyone else who helped your sorry A–. You have run every one of them off, even after they worked for you for free or loaned you money that you will never pay back, thats my definition of THIEF.November 30, 2003 at 8:21 am #45378Anonymous
InactiveWell now it appears that there seems to be a log on problem with the forum as the very gracious Mr. Welch gave me the riot act for not signing in properly and apparently screwed it up himself.
Of course before we go any further……this IS George Durdin, proudly of CRE Motorsports, LLC , Calhan , Co.
A.J. I met you and your dad when you came down for a SKUSA event in 2000 when you where a big dog in the program. It was good to meet you and your father, I was the fool out there at 6am blowing the track clean and emptying garbage cans so you folks would a clean track and first rate facilty to run your event. I’m glad to hear someone admit that we all have exactly been in Linkus’ or JB’s hip pocket all these many days.
Rusty you where absolutely the first SKUSA Mountain Region Director to take it the shorts from Mr. Linkus……..HARD. Why stand up now to protect this guy? Next up, Chuck Courter and to his credit he assumed a responsiblity that he didn’t want but that didn’t stop Linkus from cheating the SKUSA Mountain Region Membership, the SKUSA national program out of participants insurance premiums. And then on to Grady Clay………..Grady really beleived that Mr. Linkus had some redeeming qualities, that didn’t stop Linkus from once again taking advantage of the SKUSA membership that he deplored and the SKUSA national program. It took poor Grady nearly five months to collect just SKUSA entry fees from Mr. Linkus. Try calling Brad Kenyon in Albuquerque who was the National Director of SKUSA Regional developement about his dealings with Mr. Linkus.
Rusty if you will go back to Mr. Argy’s obit on EKN you will find that he didn’t announced the formation of TaGUSA until mid-January 2003, about a week before the IMI drivers meeting…. and the same obit will show that he first showcased the TaGUSA program at the Chicago Expo. I’m not trying to be smug with the facts but they are what they are and some folks are playing loose with them.
Doug I absolutely beleive that the CSC was covered by NKA in 2003, but that was only after the issues of coverage where raised on another forum and the promoters hand was called. CRE in fact gave JB the source necessary ( NKA) to provide at least minimal coverage for the racers….of course you now pay an inflated rate to test and tune at his facilty.
I absolutely stand on my previous accusations regarding Linkus and Olmstead. Stacy Cook and Grady Clay where at the 2001 meeting and there are Shifter Class participants that have awards from the 2000 IKF Colorado State Championships with the sponsorship of Shifter Kart City that Mr. Olmstead reneged on the sponsorship. He didn’t just cheat CRE that weekend he cheated the kart racers that followed CRE.
I haven’t met one and ten of you folks and yet you are willing to persecute me based on the word of folks that you really don’t know. There have been a few that have ventured down this way and found out that we didn’t have two heads , that we treated everybody fairly and that the folks that are involved in this program are friendly and generous. We have a rulebook that we follow, a schedule that we follow and for the most part everyone has a good time and is ready to support our program and its future. We also have a great track that you’ve got to come try…….November 30, 2003 at 8:40 am #45379Anonymous
InactiveBrad,
That be you ……….the infamous Blink?
Your deeds are known……..it is only a matter of time. You’ve crapped on too many people too many times for it not to catch up. Just a mear two years ago you where the King of Colorado kart racing…………not even Mr. Welch would take his sons to your dangerous facilty and now you have stooped to letting JB and Stacey in to your empire.
You convinced me that morning , in front of Stacey and Grady just where your head was stuck. Once again cheat me one time, shame on you ……cheat me two times, shame on me. I knew better…………and I and so do alot of other people in your past.
As to the other crap that you want to throw out there, if anybody has any questions about my business dealings , I have nothing to hide and will show you documentation regarding Blinks empty accusations.
Now I guess you can sign in to the forum with your real name.November 30, 2003 at 9:17 am #45380Anonymous
InactiveThis topic is not about who runs a better business. It is know about how you guys are going to work together. Remember, you guys represent the racers in your area. And some of us would like other tracks to race at. I understand I dont know the hole story behind you guys. But the past is the past, know this move on and try to make karting something huge in Colorado TOGETHER. CRE+IMI+GJ+BAND.=$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

ParticipantHow did Rusty take it in the shorts from me? Hard? Rusty never ran a race at IMI, ever. Rusty ran all his races at your track. Rusty wanted me to rent him my track for both sat and sundays for $500 a day for an organisation with 20 members at the time. Why would I do that when I make far more than that in rentals in one day? Why would anyone do that unless they are not making $1 a day on their track like yours. How did I cheat the mountain SKUSA membership out of insurance premimums when Grady paid the bill from the money he collected? Is it because I won’t let Mountain SKUSA run at my track for the exact same reason you have stated on Ekarting as to why you will not run CSC races, that it will dilute your weekly program. SKUSA was only wanting to run shifters and there are alot of racers left out with that plan. No one is in my back pocket or JB’s. AJ, are you in my back pocket? JB are you in my back pocket? Any of my customers in my back pocket? I talked with Tom Argy many times before the IMI meeting and before he made his anouncement on Ekarting and I am on the board representing the Biland engine. How many conversations have you had with Tom? None. Insurance for the CSC series had nothing to do with the false accusations you made on Ekarting about the series having no insurance. CRE gave JB the source for NKA coverage? Are you an insurance agent for them or did you just give him the phone#? It is listed in all the mags. How have I cheated you twice or even once for that matter? I am impressed that you think I have an empire, I guess I will have to go and find a throne, robe and crown to go along with it. Now that you have elected me the King of the karting empire I will send some of my pawns I keep in my back pocket down to your track to stuff a potato in your over sized mouth. I am going to change my forum name from Blink to BBKING.

ParticipantGentleman–enough already. This topic started out with a very legitimate question as to the Sonic engine and whether to allow it in the CSC even if it had not been approved by TAG USA. It has denigrated into a catfight between George and others. Without getting into who is right or wrong because the parties wouldn’t care anyway, let’s put an end to this. Everyone’s position as to each other is as crystal clear as the animosity. It’s equally clear that CRE is not going to be in the CSC, for better or worse, so let’s stop beating a dead horse. Everyone in the Colorado Karting community has got the picture. AJ’s point and plea was good–let’s all work together-but obviously that is not going to happen, at least as to CRE. For what it may be worth, and clearly not as entertaining as this ongoing “George” Soap Opera, let’s focus on building the CSC as the pricipals have hoped and planned for, and ignore George. He obviously does not desire inclusion and if what’s transpired from his initial post here, which was not relevent to the subject at issue anyway (seemingly an effort to justify a position from a year ago that no longer matters), leads to this bitterness and name-calling then there is no reason for inclusion.
Back to the initial topic posed by Chaz, it seems from what AJ has said and by the Sonik effort at Las Vegas that this concern will be much ado about nothing. The Sonik will be approved and good for that. It will allow those with Sonik’s to participate, those who are interested in purchasing one to not worry about being ineligible and allow all racers another engine choice. All’s the better.

ParticipantChuck
Every few months we need to have this discussion just to release the tension. It is fun also and George is always entertaining. I have never laughed so hard in my life on some of his comments. I know the forums get their highest hits when the show is on. The last one on ekarting was a classic.
As far as the Sonic, it will be tested just like all of the others and the weights will be set by TAGUSA. The fact that one sonic engine walked in one class at the SuperNats only brought it more attention to the people who are going to do the testing and I am sure they will give all of the engines a closer look this time.

ParticipantBrad, you type faster than I do. Your explanation of yours and my dealings in regard to SKUSA are right on. It was purely economics and nothing else. You have NEVER screwed me out of anything. Don’t know where George came up with that but it is absolutely false.
The only people who screwed me in regards to SKUSA was SKUSA!
Brad Kenyon and Jim Murley killed SKUSA in this region.Rusty

ParticipantI agree with Brad, its good to get this junk out in the open so racers can really see where the road block is. I have said all along that I would love for the CSC to go to CRE. I like the track. However, its hard to work with someone like George who all through his paranoid delusions calls people thiefs, insists there is a long list of people who have cheated him when in fact it is just the opposite. He states that I won’t take my kids to Brad’s track because its unsafe yet we raced there 3 times this year. He is just one lie after another and such lies need to be exposed. Brad, Stacey, J.B and a whole host of others are working together to make next season bigger than the last. Next year, Colorado could well have a state wide series that is the envy of the country.
