Great questions Richard, Everyone has to answer those questions for themselves every time they go to any event. While it’s no secret using duro tires will not provide excellent grip, everyone will have the same grip. You don’t need to purchase any additional tires, that might not even be necessary during the isolated storms that are usually accompanied with lightning that will delay or shorten the event. With that being said is it worth to go to Action Karting on Sunday with a possibility of rain to compete for CASH, points and prizes while not worrying about purchasing another set of tires. I think so.

I like to duro tire, it’s cheap, doesn’t fall off, nothing is left to interpret (definition of used?). I have 11+ races on my first set and will probably see a couple more. I believe a large part of success of the class can be attributed to the $110 set of tires that will last 1+ seasons. They don’t have the grip like popular spec tires but emphasize driver ability and tuning at a fraction of the cost. If you want to buy tires often why would you be racing a 8.5hp Briggs? Any other opinions?

Thanks Eddie and Richard, it took a lot more than the two of us just to name a few, Tim Trostel, Julie Williams, Dave Trujillo and Shane Lazaroff have put in countless hours.

We currently do not have a TAG JR Class. If there is enough interest we would be more than happy to add an additional class. That goes for any class at any weight, as stated in the “2015 Adult CJKC & Local Rules” additional classes can be formed with a minimum of 6 entries.
The Open TAG will be just that. Start it however you want. Anything with a gear box will be run as a shifter.

Please take to opportunity to join us at K1 Speed on March 21 or at IMI on April 18. More Details to follow.

PPKRC will be holding a Test and Tune and Swap Meet this Saturday at Action Karting. The Test & Tune will start shortly after the Kart Racing for Heroes Event. PPKRC will be awarding the most improved Hero and the Junior with the fastest lap time a pair of tickets good for 1 of 3 events at Bandimere. The three events to choose from are the Bug-In, Super Chevy or Truck Fest shows. I’m hoping for an additional adult prize. Regardless please support the Karting community and Kart Racing for Heroes. If you have any parts, chassis or complete karts please bring them out to the Test and Tune and Swap Meet.

I would like to thank Bandimere Speedway for the donation of Tickets.

Juniors eligible for prize must run a Briggs & Stratton Engine L.O 206 or World Formula, Open Tires, No Tech, Transponders required. The fastest lap time during the first hour after the Kart Racing for Heros Event.

    Kind Regards,
    Zac Dieter
