Durrant starts off the main event in a solid lead being chased by Deslauriers. Derek had a mechanical and DNF’d before halfway. MacLeod tries for six laps to take third away from Cook. MacLeod stays patient and gets around Cook with six to go in turn one. The next lap Cook attempts pass on MacLeod for third and spins, collects Noah Walter. MacLeod looks to have also been hit and rolls to a stop one corner later, all three karts DNF.

Mike Beeny pulled off on the warmup lap due to a mechanical issue. With two laps to go Jack Bradley made an attempt to pass Chris Neria for the lead in turn one. The two made contact and did not finish.

Dempster had a great start. Deslauriers put the moves on Dempster to take first in the first half of the race. Robbins takes he second spot with four laps left. Deslauriers takes the win.

Versteeg had trouble starting his kart and he wasn’t on the track during the race. Copple leads while Carneiro stays in third halfway through the race. Snow takes the lead while Copple tries to take Snow in the straightaway but falls back in line with three laps to go. Snow worked his way to first to win Heat 2 as Copple takes second and Carneiro takes third.

Riley Cook got off to a better start in Heat 2 but none of the TaG Cadet racers can catch Durrant. Deslauriers and Cook battle for second and Cook takes second while Deslauriers takes third.
