ParticipantWhat a tragedy Craig!
It is so cool that you have made the most out of this loss by preventing something like this happening to someone else and the mess that goes with a tragedy like this.

ParticipantIt looks like we are going to have about 120 coming so far. For those of you have offered to bring items to support feeding people.
Please keep this in mind for quantity you bring.

ParticipantThanks Tammy,
She is keeping us boy’s in line here. We will assemble a list of the great items you could win at the event so everyone can see what’s been assembled. Please Rsvp to this wonderful event.
Everyone that attends is going to be a winner. We get together with friends for a great cause, come and enjoy. We do need to firm up the details, as Tammy said.
Also, this place is no dive. It’s actually pretty classy. Please consider an Rsvp and come celebrate Bobs return to good health.
Thanks, Rick

ParticipantAnother cool prize to win has been offered by Hertz Local Edition of Boulder.
A free weekend rental in a premium car. So bid on this and get yourself a Mustang convertable (or whatever premium car you want) and take the misses on a nice overnight trek into the mountans this spring. Or get an Suv to use for a ski weekend.
Enterprise Rental car told me they won’t be out done, I’ll post their offering tomorrow.
Thanks to both Hertz and Enterprize. Our vendor relationship is always strong and they jump in whenever needed.

This is a great thing you are all doing!! In 2005 we pitted next to the Reed’s at most of the IMI races and can only echo all of the good things posted here. Passionate about racing, always the first to offer help, and fun to be around.
I know firsthand how stressful it can be getting knocked off of your feet by an illness. I finished 12 weeks of chemo just before the holidays and just now getting back on my feet. I cant even imagine what an extended hospital stay without insurance would be like.
Unfortunately we wont be able to make the party, my sons birthday party on the same day.
Bob, hope you are feeling better, hang in there man!
Ken & Kurtland Larke
Ken ,
Thanks for sending your generous contribution as well. And good luck on your journey as well!
And Happy birthday to Kurtland. :wave

ParticipantA “White Tiger” rug laying on the living room floor would be good!
Wouldn’t it? 😕
While “the Tiger” is taking his back swing, the field will be through turn one. :king

With the ripe ole age of G1 approaching me this summer Might be time to jump or “hobble” into the daddy class. And do a little hunting “white tiger hunting”.
Well Cunningham…. looks like that championship just got a little harder.

Hopefully what I have to offer will help out Bob.Oh Greg,
What you have offered is wonderful!
I’m sure people will want to participate and give whatever they can. In a way, the thought of all the racing community pulling for him may be the best medicine. He is a very sick man. And more important than his financial situation, is recovering from his medical problems. I hope people know how sick he really is!
When I first met him, I thought he was a little rough around the edges and maybe a little too abrasive. After the years being around him, I think I figured him out. A man who wears his emotions on his sleeve and just says whats on his mind, (especially in the heat of battle) regardless of the consequence. It has hurt some feelings, including his at times. But what I really respect about him, he always thinks about what he’s said and when the opportunity arises, he will walk up to you and explain himself and say he’s sorry. He really is quite a man.
An example that comes to mind about Bob and his rough exterior and true softer inner. When he told me about Sophie being pregnant, He was pissed! Ranting and raving and on and on. I made a comment that he would love that baby regardless. He continued the rant and rave. Well… I’m sure little “Bodine” is one of the greatest things he has to live for right now.
Others must see the same qualities. Some of the people he’s locked horn’s with the most are pulling on the rope the hardest right now. Chokes me up!
Probably won’t meet another like you Bob.
Godspeed Bob.
We’re all pulling for you.
