ParticipantThe closing of tracks that were refered to would be Second Creek, Mead, and Pikes Peak International, all three of which closed within months of each other. I think the biggest impact has been on the Colorado SCCA. The closures forced me to sell out of my Spec-7 car for a huge loss to someone in California and come back to karting (which is much more fun and challenging by the way). I know that the SCCA along with other sanctioning bodies and car clubs have been trying to raise funds and finalize a facility called C.A.M.P. (Colorado Amature Motorsports Park) but I have not heard anything about in lately. Karting seems to be the only form of motorsports realy growing in this state. Like it or not, if a big NASCAR track did come to town it would be great for our economy.

ParticipantWhat is the current kart count for the enduro? Do we have more than 5? I might be able to swing one more entry if it will ‘seal the deal’.
