ParticipantFactory is sending me a warranty replacement part. Kudos IAME.
Pads that seperated from the clutch are still in good condition. Wondering if glueing them back on somehow would be successful…or a bad thing to try. Any suggestion on a type of glue?

ParticipantMy clutch woes continue.
New clutch lasted about 20 laps.
All 3 pads seperated from the housing.
Bad glue?Working with distributor in Canada for a warranty replacement.

ParticipantIf using the drain/refill method thru the winter,
is it OK to put the drained fluid back in the system
for reuse or should new fluid aways be used?Larry Natzke
Participantnewbie questions…
1. What is best technique to drain coolant?
2. For fall/winter karting on warm days, is it best to drain
coolant for the sub-freezing temps and just refill as needed
for those warm track days, or is running antifreeze
during this time of year acceptable?LN

ParticipantThanks for the suggestions. I think I’ll try a set of GPAD’s to tighten up my seat and for additional padding. If that does not work I may have to change to next size smaller seat. Current seat is snug but I would not call it tight. JB at Action sized it for me when I purchased the kart.
Are certain tracks harder on the ribs than others? For example Bandimere vs. the Track. Most of my seat time has been at Bandi.
No ribs issues at the Track so far.Larry
