That’s the way we did it in the ’80s, or at the very least the Top 8 were inverted. It was great, though of course a bit harder on parts at times.

Or, ask your 10 favorite karting gurus who they’d suggest for getting the funds, and give to the most-commonly chosen kid?

I’ll bet there’s some young guy who everyone likes, someone with potential, but poor compared to others they’re beating. That would be wonderful.
