Could you sell the car to the highest-bidding buyer…. and donate the funds to a deserving young karter or two???

Or, ask your 10 favorite karting gurus who they’d suggest for getting the funds, and give to the most-commonly chosen kid?

I’ll bet there’s some young guy who everyone likes, someone with potential, but poor compared to others they’re beating. That would be wonderful.

Thanks and Respects to Mike M. for donating the car to begin with!!! (if I’ve heard correctly)

    Eric,
All wonderful ideas, and great thoughts. Yes I would like to sign the title over to someone in the CO Karting community. I have several families in mind who have supported SKUSA and have great young drivers who deserve this car. The reality of producing a kart race in CO, as a non track owner, has many more down sides than up however. I have not gone to one company or person asking for sponsorship money due to the economy, and do not plan on asking. Selling this car for the asking price is only a drop in the bucket of what it takes to promote quality racing. The entry fees are high enough but no way cover the cost of producing 4 races that include hotels, flights, trophy cups, first rate crew, insurance, track fees, safety crews, food, water, and all the other overhead associated with kart racing. Selling this car is a business decision as much as we would like to give it away. I am always open to ideas and solutions, but unfortunately the bills are stacking up and we have not even had round 1&2 yet.
    Thanks,
    Curt
