ParticipantStrong work with the full opposite lock photo, Rick. Keep it up boys.

ParticipantWhat is hard to see in the last photo is that Jansen is really far from full lock, but rather hooked his driving suit on the large knob attached to his steering wheel.
You could really have some fun by photo shopping some
of these Jansen pics. But you know what they say “sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction”I have a message on my cell from Jansen? Hopefully there is no Pepe head found in my bed?

ParticipantTo Quote Nascar:
Well Darryl, to be honest the Protos PizzaTurnbull Mortgage sponsored GP was really huked up at this thar race at Steamboat. We had a top 3 kart this weekend…
And the knob on the steering wheel is a Rick memory of his first car. Photos to follow….

ParticipantSpeaking of back in the day, isn’t that you in the background Kody?
This the race your Dad lost a wheel and spun so fast, it even gave me a head ache! :rotate:

ParticipantOk Jeff,
How bout this for my first try at Photo shop.
I was able to turn the picture around so you could see it from the other side. Pretty good huh?

ParticipantThis man likes going to the tech tent after a race. Seems Roman and Ronnie get there quite a bit.

Roman has walked around his kart once and knows everything that is out of place already, kills me how he does that?
Ron looks about 40 lbs lighter now.

ParticipantLets see, where is that pesky Jansen fellow?

Oh there he is (if you look hard you can find him)
Racing against Tags while in Rotax trim (including the old Mojo’s at 27 lbs cold) was fun. Smoking the field was fun, in a kart you haden’t been in until that morning even funner

ParticipantRoman looked a little busy doing a little race prep with his hand inside his helmet.

ParticipantBack then helmet doping (your own) was legal!

we were just talking about that greeley spin on the way back from Rock Island this last weekend in fact!Just wait Kody. Some of us just try to remember when we had hair on the head instead of everywhere else.
Been around karting for a while and don’t remember seeing a kart spin so fast, your Dad is one tough son of a gun to say the least. But then you already know that.
He and Roman have sure had some great battles!
Rick
