ParticipantI sorry I don’t quite understand. Last year I asked the question why is CSC in some peoples eyes not doing as well as it has in the past. The answer I got from quite a few folks was two many races. What the deal now all you have done is change the name. Sorry I just confussed.

ParticipantLast year CSC 9 races, this year 5. Last year IMI 12 races, this year 6. Last year TheTrack 10 races, this year 6. Last year 31 races, this year 17 = 45% less races. Still confused?

ParticipantI still am not sure about a few things. Please reference my prior post. When you list an event with RMax will the rotax’s be running with the same standard class. That is, will there be a Tag Masters race together with Rotax Tag Masters or will they run separately as two races? If so that is a lot of classes per day.
One thing I am concerned about is 3 races in April. Not sure about spending almost every weekend racing. Also some other months the racing is two weekends back to back. A little bit jammed there.

ParticipantThe Rotax?s will be run in a separate class, it should not add that much time to the day.
It is difficult to fit 17 races in the season when you have to consider the holidays, other karting events and for me MX events. I think we have done a fairly good job of spreading out the events with the calendar we had to work with.

ParticipantWhile there are still plenty of events, I think Brad, JB, Jim and Stacey have done a great job of getting a monster undercontrol. The races are not spread all over each other. As Brad has pointed out, each track is not fighting over the same 150 guys and gals.
The club series will now have more racers, the CSC will be even harder to win and with the Rotax grands coming, we have the opportunity to race againest the best in the country at one of OUR tracks. The sun, the moon and stars are aligning for karting to have a great year in our home state.

ParticipantI think this is a big improvement and look forward to it. I would have preferred cutting it down to 10 races total 5 at each track, but this seems reasonable.
While I still have some of the spec questions one possible suggestion is to look at tht total number of classes being run per day and split things up. Given the total number with rotax’s running separately there may be a LONG wait from qualifiers to Mains. Perhaps Rotax classes could run together at the beginning or end of the day. That would make it a lot easier on the average participant as they could either arrive and leave earlier or later. Just take it into consideration as it seems we might have 2 hours between races/heats for any given class.

ParticipantSchedule looks good to me. I’m glad the CSC is not interfering w/club races.IMO I think this new series will be better than the CSC, no B.S.:hehehe

Takes me a while sometimes. Now you know why I don’t tell you jokes after 6PM. Lucy said she gets irritated when you wake her up at 2AM yelling, “I finally got it!”
