I just wish there was a simple solution, I agree the flying dutchman close racing and seat time at a resonable cost for beginners will develop a class.
My three sons are just in love with the sport and can’t wait till the next race, I love to see their unbridled enthusiasm. But the prospect of having to buy three new engines to continue next season if thats whats decided would probably drive us out of the CSC. I realize that a unified JR1 class will be best for the sport but can’t help thinking that keeping cost down would be the better path. I know the arugument that the mini max is a engine that can used for a number of classes as kids grow, I guess I wonder if its the engine to use for JR1. For kids that started in kid karts it seems like quite a jump to mini max and for children like my boys I’m not sure that parents who start their children at later age. Would want to start out in mini max not to mention the initial cost. Anyway thats my current feelings on the subject and look forward to seeing all at Bandimere.
