I agree with Don. Rich, if you can find a gas animal that is producing even 11 hp here in Colorado (legally), please let me know and I will buy it. That would be an exceptionally strong animal by my experience.
I am also opposed to anything that creates a new engine “arms race” in Junior 1. The majority of the class is heavily invested in the animal. Whatever we do with the engine specs should be focused on what is right for the class, and not driven by an attempt to create parity with the comer.
