Ryan Rudolph Brings Formula K, Karts to Cars Program to Colorado
March 25, 2019, Highlands Ranch, Colorado – Ryan Rudolph wishes to announce the debut of a unique program for the 2019 racing season, with the formation of a new Karting Team, Rudolph Racing.
Through partnership with the California-based Leading Edge Motorsports organization, Rudolph’s move to bring the Formula K / IPK Chassis brand to the Rocky Mountain Region will provide team members unique sponsorship opportunities to transition from kart racing into cars when they are ready.
“Early in the 2018 season I was the first person to bring the Formula K product into Colorado,” stated Rudolph. “At present, I have 4 chassis sold amongst my drivers that I have been working with privately, and right away they were impressed by the design and performance of the chassis. Once I had the opportunity to go up against the best in Colorado on board the Formula K brand and not only see success, but also experience the domination the chassis has to offer, I knew this brand was what I wanted to stay with and represent.” As a driver, Rudolph returned to the seat at the 2018 SKUSA Supernationals, running solidly enough to turn heads among the executives at Formula K.
After 17 years in the karting industry as a driver and coach, Rudolph made his move to the competitive ranks of Legends Car racing in 2018, and took home the Colorado National Speedway Rookie of the Year later in the season. As winter approached, Rudolph was asked to take part in the Aussie Driver Search program, allowing him the opportunity to further demonstrate his abilities behind the wheel of a V8 SuperCar, returning as a finalist in the Pro division.
“I had a unique opportunity to move into cars full time last season, which was always something I felt I needed to do before settling down,” commented Rudolph. “I had been through running a team before, and after a couple years on the outside looking in, I knew I didn’t want to be just another team that had experience and ran a product under their tent. I wanted to develop further to own and develop that product. Furthermore, I feel that providing more to kart racers by giving additional value to them as they progress is a new direction for me. For 2019, I’ve decided to move away from Full-time Legends Car racing, and instead offer the seat to drivers on my karting team.”
Rudolph Racing will provide sponsorship opportunities for any driver who runs on the Formula K chassis within the team. For every 2 podium finishes on a Formula K chassis under Rudolph Racing, the driver will receive a free test in one of Rudolph Racing’s INEX Legends Cars. During the test, if a driver approaches a goal time, a free race in the Rocky Mountains Legends Racing Association series (RMLRA) in the car awaits the driver. A driver will also receive a free lapping day in the car upon purchase of a Formula K Chassis, with set up offered with that purchase. Beyond this program, Rudolph also has cars available for race rentals, and will be awarding select podium finishers within The Colorado Karting Tour with lapping sessions in the car throughout the season.
“I am beyond excited to come into the 2019 season offering a unique opportunity for my drivers to help grow their careers and racing experience. Over my career in motorsports, I have driven just about every chassis brand available, and I am confident that the Formula K brand is the best chassis I can offer my team.”
