February 27, 2021 – Payton, CO – RoK the Rockies is excited to announce their 2021 championship series schedule! The 8-race series will kick off their season on April 10 – 11, 2021 at SBR Motorsports Park, southern Colorado’s premier kart racing facility.
A variety of kart classes will fuel the action on track, with old rivalries continuing as new ones form when younger drivers move up in categories. New drivers will also be joining RoK the Rockies in 2021, further filling existing fields and adding new dimension to the on-track action this year.
In an effort to continue to give back to racers, SBR Motorsports is working closely with RoK Cup promotions and partner sponsors to develop incentive packages for top finishers at races as well as series champions. To this end, two races are allowed as drops, allowing regional racers to compete in both RoK the Rockies and The Colorado Karting Tour without compromising championship ambitions in either series.
Additional developments for the series include the introduction of RoK’s LeVanto tire, which as shown promise in pre-season testing. SBR has the new LeVanto KRT in stock for series competitors!
