I’ve been around, just been busy with work, moving my office, taxes, audit on loans from last year and etc. I’m HOPING to get out to see some action this sunday at Centennial. Of course, if someone can spin and win then I’ll be impressed.
My kart thinks I’m having an affair since it hasn’t been touched since Thanksgiving weekend 😥

ParticipantOh my, speaking as a Rookie, this all really concerns me.
Since I’m one of the new guys I don’t want to speak out of turn, but I really had thought I was getting involved with a bunch of folks that might actually have a sense of humor. You guys are all just too serious about this sport.
And, frankly, if this guy Jansen (based on the photo) is representative at all about all the hard physical conditioning that has to go into succeeding in it, I *know I’m screwed. There’s no way I’ll ever be able to eat enough pork rinds or drink enough beer to ever match this fine physical specimen.
BTW, why when I asked about equipment needed to participate didn’t anyone say anything about all the guns and guitars I’ll also have to get in order to play? Damn, this sport is getting expensive…
(BTW, also, since I’m also still looking for driver attire, where the hell do you find those boy thongs anyway?)

I was hoping that would bring you out of the woodwork, I knew you were lurking. I’ll be out this sunday to watch, too. My crewchief and I are waiting to see what uncle sam brings us in the way of a racing budget.
Sheldon, don’t be afraid of Jansen’s fine phsyical appearance. I’d fear the mullet, though. And the guns. Jansen can point you to his favorite retailer for man thongs. He has several. You can buy them with a racing stripe..or apply your own. eww.

Just for the record, I have a lot shorter hair now. You know, like Cecil Turtle told Bugs it’s all in the aerodynamics!
And I wax now. Most areas within reason. And you should see my geetar culleshon now.July 27, 2008 at 4:21 pm #61454Kirk Deason
ParticipantWell Mike, we missed you at the last CSC race. I did some more searching on the web and found you lurking out by your shed. Nice socks.

ParticipantTried to get Motori fixed but no help.
Should have put on Rotax vs. blind faith.
I”m out of the points for number one anyway so I’ll be like the Broncos and say “wait till next year”
I would like to get my rig fixed and race in August though…
By the way, that’s my brother before he started eating more ice cream 8)July 30, 2008 at 10:59 am #61456Doug Haner

We call it a “rebuilding” season.
