ParticipantI need maps for ALL tracks – Sorry, I can’t help – I’m just now starting to look at track data. I have a Mychron 3 Gold – any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks,
Gary
P.S. Since it seems the internet plays such a big role in karting now days, seems there would be a database of all the kart tracks and related data world wide that I could download – know of anything?

ParticipantIf someone would email me the map, I could put it here on the site for future reference. Actually, a map of each track, each direction would be good

ParticipantAngie,
We definately need maps for every track! That’d make my time tuning/driving much better. Personally, I think we should have them included with our registration packets at every race. 8)

ParticipantOK, I’m not understanding – how’s this going? Angie, have you had any response? Is this data sooo sooo sensitive, or are Colorado karters just that, well… what ever… OK, I’ll get on the net and draw up the maps – I need latitude / longitued for each track – you guys don’t mind sharing that much do ya??! Give me some input, and I’ll share the knowlege…
Thanks,
Gary

ParticipantGary,
I have gotten a couple of maps in emails. Just haven’t had the time to get them uploaded.I think there is some confusion here, too. The maps originally requested were MyChron download maps. The maps that are created by the MyChron Gold. If you have any other MyChron, you can inport the maps and be able to use them in the Race Studio Software. It is really pretty neat. You can see exactly what is happening on the track with your engine – speed, rpm, gear, temps, etc.
As for regular maps. The Track’s is on their website.
IMI’s is here
Action Karting has one on their website…. http://www.actionkarts.com
Grand Junction has one I know, but don’t see it on their new site…. we can find one though.hope that helps clear things up.
Thanks,

Participanthi Angie,
I have a mychron 3 gold – and am wanting the maps – I have been looking at the race studio software and still haven’t figured out how to create the maps from data I have, although I haven’t really had the time to sit down and really figure it out.
yeah – I’m confused…
I was thinking if I had ariel shots, I could draw the maps in race studio, and then load the data I have?? wrong? help!
Can anyone tell me how to create maps with my data? I have data for all tracks – but don’t know how to create the map.
Thanks for the info and links!

Inactivefastg,
go to maps.google.com and type in the address of IMI and Bandi. The click on the satellite view. You can zoom into detail that will fill your screen. The Track is new and has not been digitized yet. The last time I checked for GJ, the resolution wasn’t to level where you could see the track.
Hope this helps a little bit.
Michael
ps You may need to slide the map around a bit and then zoom into the track location. Google isn’t always the best at placing the track where it really is. Bandi was located on the east side of 470. 😥

InactiveI think the maps that the Mychron users are requesting are those generated by the Mychron 3 Gold, and are saved as data files. I too have been trying to generate them utilizing my Mychron 3 Gold but to no avail. If any of the Mychron guru’s are at CRE this weekend maybe you can help me or you can PM me at [email protected]. Regards.
