OK, I am wearing down now on day 6 of our journey. Please get your info at http://www.ekartingnews.com/news_info.php?n=9103
There is even a hot lap posted. We are all thrashing hard to go fast, and my extended family all invaded Vegas today. So until next week, I am DUN. Hopefully Mr. Toby can get you all up to speed. He and Jesse are wandering around keeping us all in good spirits. One thing is for sure, you will not hear a word about bad weather. We have been graced by Mother Nature with some of her best work :sun: :sun: :sun: :sun:
Hey Edwards, you have all the poop from our phone conversation today. Get them up to speed as I fall deep asleep.
Thanks,
Good work on the site Angie. Looks Great!November 18, 2007 at 4:39 am #60107Garrick MitchellParticipantSome random shots from Wednesday practice… I happened to be in LV for a day trip.

Good job to all the Colorado racers – I counted at least 20. I look forward to seeing the final results and hearing the stories when they all get back! Travel safe.

The racing was tough in every class, I have bruises from one end to the other.. bent axle on the start in the main got me but man we had fun… I think I better practice and do a little racing if I decided to go next year :rotate:
Congratulations to all the Colorado Drivers….

Where you there? You better not have been there and not come hang with us!
It’s so much fun there. The best kart race we’ve attended, by far. And that includes my years bidding for a National Super kart title at some monumental events, Cascade Locks, the Shootout… whatever… Even with the struggle, getting Roman a set up he was comfy with, it was awesome. We’re competitors for sure. But I’m also a big enthusiast of motor racing and can’t tell you how much I love going up there and watching the racing. Pulling for our Colorado / Utah boys is just a bonus for me. Seeing all of the big names in our sport and some of the elite Euro’s going head to head with the best we have was incredible.
I have some good photo’s but need to figure out how to make them smaller. It says, they “exceed maximum file size”?
You better come run it next year Garrick. It will make you a much better racer on your home turf, And you’ll have the time of your racing life. I guarantee it! You other Csc guys / gals too. Come out and Do it!

LOL… I was in Vegas on business on Wednesday (day trip… the miracle of air travel). By the time I figured out where to park, I realized I didn’t have enough time to get inside the track and spend any meaningful amount of time there, so I watched/shot photos from outside the fence at the east end of the track for maybe 30 minutes before I had to bug out for the airport. Man, those SuperPros were fast. 😯
Supernats is waaaaay out of my league, but it’s been a blast even just watching practice. At least this year I got comfortable with my kart, and I’m not as scared about running in traffic, so I’m more likely to come out to TTAC when there’s actually a crowd there. Every time I go, I meet someone else I “know” from this site.
Cheers,
