Has anyone heard of the new “semi” indoor track at the old Toyota dealership (I-25 & Hwy 36)? It looks like they are going to have a large rental fleet, what about taking our own karts?

Dangerously close to my house as well…near Shockwave, too. I like the edginess of racing in a parking garage. Their website is only a mailing list signup, no contact phone numbers. I was going to call them and force them to advertise with Angie through use of my strong arm style of persuasion and the HUGE numbers of Colorado karters as leverage.

Fear not- there is also yet another indoor track being developed at an abandoned Home Depot down close to Centennial airport somewhere. You are the lucky one as you will soon have 2 to choose from.From None to 3 in the matter of 12 months

Really cool to see another indoor track coming, I had no idea this was even in the works…looks like they’re pretty far along already. I’ve had a blast at Speed Raceway in the short time its been open, I love indoor karting. This one looks proper! A second story track? Cool!
Man, between this place and Speed Raceway, they’re gonna get all of my money when the snow starts flying. :zombie

This is Scott Shirk, Director of Marketing with Unser Racing & Entertainment. We are very close to opening our new facility at 7300 Broadway. If we get our certification with fire and the county, we should be open Saturday, October 16th. I will keep you posted. You can also check in on the website, we’ll be launching our new site in the next few days. In the meantime, some of you live and work nearby. Please contact me to stop by and I’d be more than happy to give you a tour so you can see first hand what we are up to here. I can’t tell you how excited we are to get open… You might have noticed we are putting signs up already!
We have a large rental fleet of Stratos karts and will soon have higher end Sodi’s as well as Sodi kid karts. So, we will not allow personal karts for the most part. We will, however, start looking into events we can host where we will have open races on the open air roof or in the lot around the building tied into the indoor track.

Thanks for the update! Us local karters seem pretty excited about the prospects of a new indoor track. Too bad the 16th is when i’ll be in Grand Junction for my last race of the year, but it won’t be long before i’ll be down there burning laps!
