Thanks so much for helping pack up my equipment and driving it back to IMI. It was a big relief to know that you and Brad, my pit crewman, had taken care of that. It was also very kind of Brad L at IMI to let my stuff stay there until I could pick it up.
The kart looks pretty ugly on first glance, but I think it’s repairable. The frame needs a little straightening in the back, but the engine and the front of the kart look like they’re in good shape. There are several components that need to be replaced, but it’s not nearly as bad as I expected.
It will be a few weeks before I can pick up tools with my right hand, let alone drive. So I’ll miss a few races but I’ll be back when I can.
