I think you meant to say Oct 12, not Oct 14. That’s the date of the CRE Championship race. (As well as the rain makeup date on Oct 5.)
Personally, I think it would be cool to get a Biland or two down–I love the sound of them!
Dennis, if you haven’t found a ride, let me know and you can hitch a ride down in your old trailer on the 5th.
October 5th is a rescheduled CRE club race because of the Rotax National event in Texas. I asked George if I could bring the Leopard down and just play , he said no problem. George then said that if 4 or more TAG karts show up we have a race. I hope some of you guys and gals can make it and get in some testing for the 12th
Your right the 12th not the 14th
The CRE event on the 12th is a Open IKF race, the same applys if 4 or more TAG karts show you have a race. Work has me traveling the wekkend of the 12th so yet again I miss out on the fun.
I won’t be making this race, other plans got in the way.
The gearing that I ran at CRE on the rotax was a 12/82. This was early in the season before I figured out that I didn’t need that much top end so I would probably recommend running an 11 tooth front with a 76 or 77 rear.

Hey guys, I am about 90% sure that I will be at CRE on the 11th and 12th with my Biland. I haven’t even seen the track at CRE but I am looking forward to it.

hey good to see you online chris, we should have enough tags, me (as a senior) chaz (you better 👿 ) you, and hopefully i can try to round some up for it this weekend, see if you can get some Bilands to come chris, i will try to get some leopards, hopefully Sleezling will come with the sonik, should be fun.

Well, I’m still “thinking”. I have clearance from my primary sponsor (wife), and enough fuel, sprokets, and rubber (barely – the final could be a little snotty).
Forecast calls for high sixties and partly cloudy with a possibility of rain on Sat.
Has anyone been able to contact Jim? A sonik would be very cool.

Ok we have offically spoken to george, and there will be a TaG class as well as JR1 and JR2 (i think) so i encourage all to come, we will be there most certainly
After putting the sonik back together, I now need to jump ship into a sailboat once again. Have to (get to) go race in the J80 World Championships.
The next Karting for me will be Las Vegas. Good luck to all at CRE!

Ran at CRE last weekend the gear I endded up with was 7.7 to 1 on tires with 3 races and a test day. 7.5 or 7.6 would be where I think I would have been with fresh tires.
Fun track with a tag package, have fun I wish I could be there.
I didn’t have much for the fast Rotax guys but I think they where running at 355# Another thing I found is that the Tillet seat that works fine at Action and IMI didn’t cut it at CRE, on the 2 high speed left handers I was falling out of my seat. smaller guys may not have the same problem.Myself and at least couple other Rotax guys that normally run CRE are planning on running with you guys this weekend. I am looking forward to racing against some new faces, should be fun. See you guys this weekend.
Dane it appears to me that “King George” does NOT intend to allow Leopards race with the Rotaxes , correct me if I’m wrong , but I gather he will form a new class , if 4 or more show up !
J.B.I beleive the Rotax IS included in the CSCS and TaG USA classes at 385 or 375 lbs. The Rotax racers will be able to run the TaG class as a secondary class or as a primary class if they wish.
I don’t want any confusion…………
