Okay so I’m reviewing the rules for TaG USA and one thing is sticking out, front brakes.
Are we here in Colorado using front brake systems or not? I looked in Rmax and they say you can use front braking systems in a sprint kart in Masters (the class the spectators demand 20 lap finals)
Rmax section 3. Kart 3.1 chassis says: “Front brakes are allowed in 125 MAX class only.”
TaG USA says:
3.3 BRAKES – Cadet, Junior, Senior and Master class Rear system ONLY. Front wheel systems are permitted in Four stroke, Shifter and Road Racing Division ONLY. A dual rear system is allowed. Can I please get some clarification.
Thank you.January 23, 2009 at 2:15 am #62410Brad LinkusParticipantWe let them run with a +10lb added to the weight.

Is that Masters only, or all TaG classes? I don’t think I’ll have the weight to run Masters this season, so I’ll be running Senior. Just curious if I need to re-do my brakes.
