ParticipantJust wanted to thank Stacey and all the folks over at GJMS and all the racers who showed up. Cody and I had such a fun time over there this weekend after the main event he got out of his kart with the biggest smile and all the way home it was all he talked about was how much fun he had racing yesterday. For those of you who weren’t able to make the trip all I have to say is you missed one fun “club” race. A lot is being written about the “State of Colorado” racing on another blog on this site and I do hope some of what’s being said bring about some POSITIVE changes but the bottom line this weekend was that if you just quit talking and show up there is some really fun exciting kart racing here in Colorado!!!

ParticipantYou said it Don. That was a blast. It was my first visit to GJMS but it won’t be my last.
Thanks to everyone at GJMS. You have a great crew Stacey!

ParticipantThanks everyone! We really appreciate all of you making the trip over. The racing was awesome! Both Tag and shifter had some awesome racing every time they were on the track. Congrats to the winners. Also a special thank you to the Velasquez family for the incredible barbecue. We are very lucky to have so many good people and families.
See you on November 10th for the Club Championships.

ParticipantGreat fun weekend with some racing thrown in! Thanks to everyone that made the drive over the hills to come race. It was awesome having 14 TAG karts on the grid yesterday. Made for some fun racing with various karts on the track. Cody was a lot of fun to battle with on the track. Provided new challenges trying to pass with his kart having different strengths and weaknesses. Thanks to Louie Valasquez and family for the BBQ yesterday and bringing out the drivers for the rental class. Great to see them getting a chance to see why we love this sport!
I snapped a picture of the TAG final results. For quick reference since the mylaps site is so awesome.

Meant to get a pic of all the classes but was to distracted talking about all the fun we were having with everyone.
Cannot wait to do it all again November 10th!!
Edit: We going to run counter clockwise this time Stacey?

ParticipantOutstanding weekend at GJMS. My first time there and I had a blast. I can’t believe how good the track is – kept squeeky clean and very fun and challenging.
10 shifters made it the best attended shifter class I’ve seen all year (other than SKUSA events). Made for some exciting moments.
Looking forward to attending more races over the hill next year. I just hope my radiator didn’t burst heading over the pass…
I sped past the Dempster crew somewhere near Vail. It was the only way I had a chance to do so..
