Unfortuantely, I will not be able to attend. I will be in WARM Naples, Florida, basking on the beach!
My thoughts are:
Rotax/Tag Class:
If we have>40 Tag karts total, I would go with splitting them up into: Juniors <18,
Internationals >18 @ 365 lb
Masters (Viagra class), >40 @ 385 lbs
As to tires: open rule
One thing I definitely WANT IS A NEWBIE RULE: THEY HAVE TO START AT THE TAIL END OF THEIR GROUP AND HAVE A YELLOW REAR NUMBER PLATE OR YELLOW “X” ON THE BACK OF THERE HELMUT!
A Newbie is someone in their 1st year of kart racing or 1st year in that class. They must start at the tail end of the grid for their 1st three race DAYS or at the discretion of Head Flagger-Bobby.
We kinda had some rule like this but it was never enforced. It needs to be enforced from the registration slip through to grid time-no exceptions.
We just had too many aggressive and inexperienced drivers in the pack. It cost drivers $$$, stress and unneeded time.
Yes to having an ambulance again! Obviously we need it.
Have a great meeting guys.
