January 17, 2022 – Peyton, Colorado: The Colorado-based ROK the Rockies series is pleased to announce their 2022 season schedule! Operated by Seigel Boys Racing, the series will feature several events throughout the year, with a total of nine ROK-powered classes at each event.
With the start of a new season, Vortex’s ROK engine package will be the powerplant of choice for most racers yet again. Exciting developments for the comign season include the addition of the Briggs & Stratton engine with the Adult 206 light and heavy divisions, as well as the addition of the Kid Kart division utilizing the Honda GXH50.
As the official Vortex ROK and LeVanto Tire supplier for the Rocky Mountain Region, SBR Motorsports Park is SBR will be offering sales and service of these products for series competitors.
The 2022 ROK the Rockies, presented by Seigel Boys Racing will be an eight race with one drop series, with all events run at SBR Motorsports Park in Calhan, CO. Championship points are based on the driver’s best seven finishing results. Awards will include free entry to ROK Cup USA’s ROK Vegas event to all class champions, including entry, race tires, fuel and oil.
