Race Recap | Rok the Rockies, Round 06 2018

October 04, 2018, Peyton, Colorado — The Rok the Rockies series returned to SBR Motorsports Park this past weekend. Here is track owner and manager Lee Seigel recapping the event:

“We couldn’t have asked for better weather on Saturday & Sunday for the season finale of the 2018 ROK the Rockies Series. Saturday featured  a great day of uninterrupted practice sessions, and ending the day with free Pizza Hut and drinks at the track, sponsored by Bridgestone tires.”

“On Sunday, our venue was full of tight, clean racing among all competitors. You could feel the excitement and anticipation of bringing home championships for the season! I want to salute to our 1st place champion’s Masters Rok driver Allen Moore driving with team PKS, Senior Rok driver Fililp Niemkiewicz with team PKS, Junior Rok driver Daniel Fellows  with team PKS, and Mini Rok driver Zander DePreist driving for Team Seigel Boys Racing.”

Seigel continued: “With the 2018 season behind us now, we can look forward to planning the 2019 Rok the Rockies Series. We plan to have an 8 race series, starting in April going through September, with dates to be announced soon. I believe Rok Cup USA will still be offering engine rental packages, and SBR will definitely be offering purchase incentives. So come Rok the Rockies with us in 2019!!”
