Race Recap | Rok the Rockies Round 05, 2018

Race Recap: Round 05, Rok the Rockies 2018

Peyton, Colorado, September 21, 2018,

From Lee Seigel of SBR Motorsports Park:

Rok the Rockies Race #5 is in the books. It would appear that the series has a bright future, with 3 new drivers at this race! Junior Rok racer Jack Armstrong, and 2 Senior Drivers Georg Bower #343 (racing under Team Seigel Boys Racing) and Sullivan Sherill #317.

In grand fashion we all ate well at a Taco Fiesta sponsored by Bridgestone and La Mission Restaurant Saturday afternoon, and Sunday’s racing was enhanced by good weather and great attitudes.

I look forward to the season finale with both excitement and a little sadness, as this concludes our 2018 season.

By the way, the race has been rescheduled to September 30 (from October 21) due to additional scheduling conflicts.

The 2019 Rok the Rockies series will be an 8-race championship, and will be released soon! For racers interested in participating, Rok is offering a rental engine program, and SBR has engine purchase incentives in place locally and available. For more information on this, contact SBR Motorsports Park, and ask for Lee!
