Engine is a typical ’99 CR125 kit motor
I have at least one gear that needs to be replaced so I need to split the case. I don’t think my crank has been modified for slip fit and I have all the basic tools – just wondering what “engine spicific” tools may be needed for the job and would like to have everything I need before I start turning bolts. Sooo…
I know there is a flywheel puller.
is there a CR125 engine book?
is there a cluch tool needed?
wrist pin pusher?
case seperator?
anything els?
I have rebuilt motorcycle engines before but have no bottom end experience with the little CR. As usual, all your input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

If the crank hasn’t been slip fitted, you will need a simple puller to separate the case halves. If it has been slip fitted, and most kart engines have had that done, simply whack the end of the crank with a rubber mallet and it should fall apart. Buying a Honda manual would be a big help because when it falls apart, lots of stuff goes rolling on to the floor!
