InactiveHey Jim,
I was on the RMAX web site and they didn’t list your schedule for the RMAX series. How many races are in your RMAX series? How many qualifiing spots are you allocated for the Grands? What are your qualifing rules, point system, drops, ect?
Thanks in advance

ParticipantHi Jim,
Now I’m confused-does this mean we have to run MG Yellows if we are only doing the 4 RMax Challenge races? What is the name of the combined CLUB SERIES? If it is Mile High Challeng then no wonder I’m confused. I was under the impression that The Mile High Challenge refered to the Rotax Max Challenge-Mile High Series-meaning the 4 races at The Track and IMI. I missed the name that was chosen for the Club Series.
My concern is that I would like to run Mojos for the 4 RMax races regardless, so to get used to them in a race setting.
Any clarification is appreciated, thanks, j

The schedule is on ths site. As far as qualifying go, you will have to do 3 of the 4 races. We are still negociating with SSC over the exact number of spots but we should have at least 4 or 5 in Jr, International and Masters. All DD2 and Mini-Max who do 3 of 4 go.
We haven’t talked about drops yet.
On a personal note, I don’t think SSC will turn down any locals who have fully supported any of the 3 Colorado series. One of the goals of bring the Grands here was to increase participation in RMax. I can’t believe that they would be stingy about letting locals come to a race in their own back yard. I would pick your series based on what works for you and expect to be racing at The Track in August.
Obviously we hope that many racers will choose The Mile High Challenge as their home series. I hope we get so many that we have to break them out. I can tell you that interest is very high. Quite a few engine packages have been sold this month alone.

Mojo’s will be the spec tire IF and only if there are enough entries to split out the Rotax qualifiers from the club racers. What is the number of Rotax qualifiers to allow the split?

InactiveDo we need our own Transponders for the Mile High Rmax Series? I figure we will for the Grands, but what about the 4 race series.
Thanks,
Joe Marshall

ParticipantAny resolution on this?
We were planning on bringing some folks up to race with you guys, but the tire deal has already caused people to drop out.
What is the minimum number of competitors needed to put the Rotax guys on MOJOs?
Please see this thread, especially the posts near the end.

ParticipantSo, plane and hotel reservations have been made, gas money has been collected and plans are set.
Myself, Waqar Meyer, Ian Thomas and Gary Pesner are coming for Masters. Frank Powell is coming to race Sr. Max and Dakota Dickerson is coming to race MiniMax.
I am trying to rally more to come, but this is who I have so far.
Trailers and planes arrive Friday night. We will be at The Track on Saturday morning.
What time does The Track open Saturday, March 31st?
We are bringing our Mojos. That was a good decision to spec them.
