InactiveThis is rotax gearing, but Leopards are fairly close. Use IMI as a baseline and adjust:
front/rear
IMI 12/74
GJ 12/75
Bandi 12/85 – new track should be 12/82, but run an 11 tooth front 11/75
Steamboat 11/77I was very slow at Bandi but had pole at IMI and GJ and 2nd row in Steamboat.

InactiveZev,
I would suggest you buy a bunch of rear sprockets. Since you are new to the kart, you will want to change to shorter/longer gears for each track and see the results. Your personal style might prefer different gears from everyone else.
I’ve got a guy who makes sprockets and I can get them for wholesale at $12/ea. If you are interested, I am placing an order this week and we could order together to save on shipping. :idn:

Is it a home depot job and then just bend it ??I’m no expert, but wouldn’t a 10:72 be a bit too low? I was runninng 10:66 – 10:68 last fall. Knida sucky in the widowmaker, but wicked fast everywhere else.

Inactive10/72-74 is excellent fo me. I was running a 68 when I first began at Bandi. I changed because I’d rather have the faster corner speeds, I prefer to make my passes in the widow maker. Not too many people are balls-e-enough to pass on the straights as well. That’s only my $.02, not saying it’s the best nor worst.
Lap times are still in the 40-41’s @ bandi.
