InactiveSo if the race is cancelled due to bad weather does this then become your drop? Or are you still allowed another drop?

ParticipantLadies and Gentlemen:
CowboyUp!
Like Doug said wait 15 minutes and the weather will change!
For those of you with short memories the only race that will be run in the rain is Steamboat.:boo:

InactiveIf the event is cancelled due to weather, will it be re-scheduled? Or will it be just cancelled and the series goes down to 6 total races??

InactiveRun in the rain at steamboat?
Does that now mean we have to buy a set of rain tires for the finals?

InactiveWill we run if it rains? Racing in the rain when it is 40 degrees would be much different than rain and 70 degrees. My brother and I will drive four hours on Saturday to race Sunday and I am considering not even making the venture with the questionable weather. I have yet to purchase rain tires and this will be our first official race EVER. Knowing the weather service it will probably be 75 degrees and sunny instead of the 55 and snow I keep seeing. Will we race with a light snow?

Only if it rains 😀
Due to the nature of the event, Steamboat will run rain or shine. All the other events at the various tracks will NOT run in the rain. 🙁 ( We like the rain). They will be rescheduled to run at a later date. We already have an official rain date on the schedule for later in the year. This weekend we will be monitering the weather very closely and if it appears that Sunday just won’t happen, we will try to let everyone know so that our out of town racers don’t make the trip for nothing. However, as we all know, it can be snowing sideways in Colorado Springs and beach weather in Denver ( and vice versa) so just because its doing or not doing anthing whre you are, 20 miles away it could be entirely different.
