InactiveI was just wondering exactly what VP spec fuel we are to run this year and what the $/gal. will be at the races? I know the rules mentioned VP 98 octane, but on the VP website they have numerous kart applications with specific identifiers.
thanks,
Jim Beach

ParticipantVP fuels.
The spec fuels are MS98, C12, and MS93. Oils are either RC3 (Castor) or RS7 (Synthetic). I will post again with prices.

Racing Fuel: VP MS 98
Price: $4.55 per gallonMarch 18, 2005 at 2:47 pm #50205Angie MacEwen
ParticipantThanks Don. Your information for Big T is correct.
I think you may be in for a shock, though. The price of fuel has gone up! I am going to get the numbers and post here, but it has gone up. Also, just so everyone knows, your price from us for the race events is the same as if you walk in to Big T and buy it. Details of how the fuel will be handled will also be posted soon. I do know that with the tech we are going to be doing, everyone should plan on starting with a new, clean gas can to be on the safe side as far as contamination goes.
