    -Drain the carb out to get empty the float bowl so that doesn’t leak.
    -Either drain the tranny or just put a zip tie or safety wire on the overfill hose. I usually just put a zip tie on the hose, works fine.
    -Other than that, you’ve already drained the radiator so you’re fine there.

    And take any old fuel out, the oil might not be any good anymore. I use it in my lawn mower (the smell makes mowing more pleasant :loony: !).

    Geremy,

    the guys are right on. The only things I would suggest:

    Blow out gas from all your lines-they will need to be changed out next season.
    Empty the gas tank completely
    Cover the kart
    drain the oil

    With me I don’t have to worry about storing as I completely dismantle the kart down to the bare chassis, clean, check everything, replace, send motor off to be checked/refreshed and then rebuild it all back up.

    This is a good way to learn the mechanics of your kart-I would suggest this. Of course the Boss of the house-wife-would have something to say about that! :argue
