Hello All,
I posted a forum a while back about the Kersey Day’s Go Kart/Lawn Mower race on August 5th and had a great turn out. I have been speaking with the directors of the race and they said that they have recently had a lot of interest in doing another race before the year is up. They are also looking to do, at least, 2 races a year starting next year. They are looking to possibly do a beginning of the Summer race around the end of May or early June, and then again for the Kersey Day’s Festival.
I wanted to post this to see if there was any interest of other kart racers to come up and do another race before year end. The discussion I had with them is that they might do it in November on a Saturday or Sunday starting around 1ish or 2. Since it is getting darker earlier and colder, doing a day race just makes all the sense. So, having said that, is there anyone out there that would be interested in racing their karts on the dirt? They have 2 classes so far for go karts, a 2-cycle class (Tags, 100cc and shifters all together) and 4-cycle. There is no specified rules, it is a run what you brung race. Let us know who is interested!

It is a lot of fun and I see they might have added it to the schedule next year as a non points race! Hopefully even more people will come out next year!
