The Track at Centennial announces LIVE timing and scoring via the web for 2009.
December 4, 2008 – Centennial, CO
The Track at Centennial, Colorado’s premier karting facility, is pleased to announce LIVE timing and scoring for all race events. Demonstrating leadership in the customer experience, The Track introduces this live system to provide exciting opportunities for racers, family and friends.
Investing in technology to improve the customer experience is yet another example of The Track’s commitment to support an exciting racing program for all participants. Now if you are first or last, your friends, family or anyone with access to the web can follow all the action. This sets the stage for great action and interactions for customers and their fans.
Jim Keesling, owner of The Track at Centennial, gives his perspective: “Racers and families have been frustrated with the inability to get timely and accurate race results for all participants, not just the top few. Whether it’s a local club series race or national event, the limited information available is a frustration point for our customers and their network of supporters. The Track will pioneer and deliver live timing & scoring for all race results.
The core components of the system were tested on the grid in 2008 with the remote display monitor. We are comfortable now with taking the next step and investing in additional technology to improve the racing experience.A big thank you goes to Jim Carey and Directlink for their support in making this happen. The wi-fi hot spot and high-speed internet access they provide are key components of this exciting solution.”
The Track at Centennial will host the six race Mile High Challenge club series, the 24-Hours at The Track endurance race, and will deliver the four race regional series, Race the Rockies, in 2009. This exciting race event line-up offers something for all types of racers. In addition to supporting these official Kart-racing events, The Track provides a comprehensive rental kart program and hosts corporate team building events for groups of all sizes from throughout the Denver metropolitan area.
