A few years ago there was a growing SKUSA region out of Alb NM, then it fizzled out. They ran at Sandia which was a very fun track. I think it was 2001 when there ws a quad regional there.
Tim Lamkin tried very hard to build a good region but it simply fell apart. Bad timing. About the time Motos were at their peak ICC’s came along on top of a weak economy and decimated the region.
Not too distant is Colorado. High altitude fun. Very strong racing, and pretty much run the way karting was meant to be. They don’t need no stinkin orgs, they just do their own thing. It’s probably the best kept karting secret in America.
