InactiveA huge thanks goes out to denis dyer for all the help he has given me today. I really really really appreciated it and for the first time, i got my kart to run. Had a BLAST running it around me neighborhood and i spun out in a cul de sac.
Thanks Again Dennis and i hope to see you at the track …October 24, 2004 at 2:13 am #48690Anonymous
InactiveScott, you are very welcome for the help. See, I told you that I could get it running in no time.
Your face was beaming when that engine started, almost as much as after you took the kart for a spin on the street (no more street sessions, karts are for the track). Great job on getting all the necessary safety equipment and in taking notes during our work session today. There’s a lot more to learn, just keep your eyes open and see what everyone does, take notes and in no time you’ll be an expert on the Rotax.
Next step is to put that bad boy on the track and see what you can do. Let me know when you have a track session planned and I’ll come help you out. Hopefully the weather will be nice next weekend, if not there are always weekends during the winter that the temps get up high enough to run the kart.
We probably need to schedule a couple more work sessions over the winter where you do the work on your kart and I’ll guide you along.
Happy Karting,
DuffP.S. To everyone else, Scott has a working kart now. I expect to see him at the races next year as well as some practice sessions this winter at IMI.

ParticipantScott,
I’m not going to be there for a few weeks but (maybe) in the middle of November. You can buy me a water (NO ROOTBEER!)
Hope to see you soon. I’ll show you how to drive that thing off the track if you’d like.

If the weather does hold for this weekend, I doubt there will be many people at the track. Karting season is basically over with for this year and most people are winding down. Except for the SuperNats guys not much is going on.

ParticipantAny driver who drinks water with colour added, sugar (30+ grams) and a little carmel colour to make it look nice can’t be a serious driver. BEER is better for you (if you are of age)!
If you want to stay fit and trim try water instead. Or just order a why bother (diet coke cafffiene free) try it for a month and then tell me how you feel.
y’all have several months to train for next year…
😀 😀 🙁 🙁 8) 8)
