InactiveThank you Jamie I won’t forget. Jamie I owe you a big thanks as well. You provided the exhaust, help with the starter issue, help getting to grid and the list could go on. I don’t know if you are the hardest working dad in the paddock, there are several but, you certainly give 110%. Taylor you better hug your dad and say thanks! If you could only see him watch you race. It is something very cool! Nice job to you and your family. Thank you Angie and Kaitlyn for the help with Alex.
My weekend is a testimony for the karting community. The Allens provided me the means to race (kart, trailer, tools ect.), people help me with setup advice and engine tuning (Ryan, Mitch, Richard, Barry, Chuck, Mark and Jamie). People keep me hydrated and organized (Star and Deanna). Several folks help keep Alex entertained and comfortable. The support is awesome.
The coolest thing is that my weekend isn’t exclusive. Things like this happen every race weekend to most karters. I know of several karters that received help from others. Loaned engines, labor of some sort, tuning support… This is truly what makes karting cool. I?ve said it before and I?ll say it again. The attitude of the karters in the CSC is what is making it the best regional series around. Don?t forget the track owners and kart providers in the series. Buy parts from them and support them. They do what they do because they love the sport!
Dang I?m all mushy. :crazy
See ya?ll at IMI.
Mike
