Rotax is competitive in TaG against different motors. Come to IMI on Sunday and ask a bunch of questions of the racers. Everyone is happy to share.

August 3, 2007 at 5:56 pm #58877Kirk DeasonParticipantAhhhh, the eternal question. Come to IMI on sunday and get a feel for the scene and what classes have the largest fields. You’ll see the differences in classes and just see what group you’d like to race with.
There is no RIGHT answer as to which class would be best to start with. Have a budget in mind …then be prepared to throw it right out the window. There will be lots of ‘little’ things that you’ll need to buy that you may not be prepared for right now.
I’ll be there practicing on Saturday starting around 1 PM if you want to come say Hi. If you can fit in my kart (I have a small seat) you can take some laps to get a taste of the speed and cornering..it’s quite addictive.
August 3, 2007 at 10:03 pm #58878AnonymousInactiveim going to try to make it.
