ParticipantA couple of interesting changes to last year’s weight differences, unless I have lost my memory….
So what’s everyone getting… ? ? ? (That new Biland must be a rocket..! )December 16, 2004 at 2:54 pm #49183Anonymous
InactiveWhat’s the Hp rating on the 2005 Biland?
Why so much weight added? 440 lbs!!!
Better get somethiing heavier than Lead. How about depleted uranium?

ParticipantWatch all of the G1/Senior Heavy shifter dudes sell their stuff now. Better widen your entry door a few inches Blink, here they all come to buy that motor package.
Buy the way, how much are those rockets? I have this friend who is kind of heavy, likes to race, oh never mind 😳December 16, 2004 at 4:29 pm #49185Brad Linkus
ParticipantIt is all the normal politics of karting that has been around since I was a kid, nothing has changed, only the people involved with making the rules. One thing they did not know was that the Biland is the only engine that goes faster with more weight. You see there is so much tire spin with the new engine that the weight will actually help your lap times. We had to run 40 lbs over weight on that slick track in Vegas just to be competitive.

ParticipantMake sure you run the big axle as well, would not want to rip a mere 40mm off the bearing hangers would you…….! !

ParticipantJeez Brad, it sounds like you got screwed by the political boyz. So your engine’s (like) churning out about 45HP?

ParticipantWas it really even a surpise that they hit the Biland with that much weight? I just wonder what they will do when they are still beating up on the competition!
Brad,
Do you ever think ” why did I ever get involved with Biland?” 😀

ParticipantThe same thing happened with the Sonik last year. Get a hotshot driver, wax the field, and get weight added to your package. Or, show up with a middle of the pack driver, and have a hard time selling a motor because everyone doesn’t think it’s that great.
Time to get back in the seat and drive, drive, and drive..
All I know is I’m NOT going to help Jack LIFT his kart onto his stand…
:boo:
Happy Holidays to all…
