ParticipantHi All- I am moving from S2 to Tag Masters this year. Does anyone know
if the color background for the rear number plates will be implemented
again?? If so, what is the color for Tag Masters?? Also, any idea on
weight for this class?? BTW, I will probably be asking a lot of questions
this year regarding this class. Little different than my shifter. Thanks.

As Jim Stated, the CSC will be following TaG USA rules (above). Weights for all engines are listed in section 1.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantYes, we will implement the rear number plate colors. It really helps everyone, on and off track, to see who is racing who.
Here they are….Pro 125 ? Yellow
Novice 125 ? Red
Stock 125 ? Blue
Masters 125 Shifter ? Black
Junior 80 ? Yellow
Novice 80 ? Red
Tag Masters – Yellow
Tag Senior – Red
Tag Junior – Blue
Mini Max – Yellow
Jr 1 Animal – Red
Jr 1 Comer 80 – Black
Kid Kart ? Yellow

ParticipantI am glad to see that I do not need to buy new plates. I never made an issue out of this last year, but very few karts were running the CSC required number plates. Will there be a penalty this year if not running the required plate?

ParticipantI don’t know if Stacy at Grand Junction will be doing it again but last year you could buy numbers from the track that were color correct for each class. Whats the story this year Stacy, or maybe the extra MONEY to csc will supply the class corect numbers

ParticipantI never voticed last year. Is the schedual of classes ran so one could have some time between being a Senile Senior and a Master?
Is your second class/same driver entry discounted at all?February 7, 2006 at 5:12 pm #52708Angie MacEwen
ParticipantFreeze,
Last year we had many drivers participating in two classes. We try very hard to put at least one, usually two, classes in between them on the schedule. I don’t believe that the second class entry will be discounted on race day.February 7, 2006 at 6:16 pm #52709Doug Welch
ParticipantThere had been talk of different Tag weights for different tracks. Is that thought still bouncing around?
