ParticipantSince we aren’t really having a WINTER —- This will be an open invitation for racers, dealers, and retired racers !
Clean out your garage, your truck, your shop, your trailer. How many years have you had that carburetor, engine, old racing suit, and a myriad of other odds and ends that no longer applies to your new kart racing venue? Bring them to Bandimere at Action Karting’s open house SWAP MEET on Saturday, February 18th. (Rainy/Snowy day? Sunday, February 19th will be the rain date. Bad weather all weekend? It will be held on Saturday, February 25.)
There will be designated pit spots (just like the CSC race) for $10 per spot. Test & Tune of $25 will stand if you don’t have a Season Pass. Should you have a potential buyer for a used kart – waivers must be signed and the $5 extra driver fee will apply.
If there is enough interest – we can bring in a roach coach so there will be food for everyone.Show and Tell Time !!!

ParticipantGreat idea JB. Let’s hope Mother Nature can dish out some good weather for your dates.
I would bet that the roach coach would be a good gamble if the weather holds. You should have a lot of foot traffic from buyers and sellers. What else is happening that weekend after the Super Bowl parade and hangover?

ParticipantJ.B. I just wanted to know if the swap meet was still ‘on’ for the 18th. There are a few odds and ends I need for the season and wanted to see what size the swap meet would be. Will the vendors just be kart shops or are individuals setting up tables as well?
Thanks!
Kirk

ParticipantI spent yesterday orginizing to come and could spend a couple more days digging out all the stuff in my garage.
Will there be any public advertizing done to get more than the few people that read this site to come? How about that Hwy. 470 lighted bill board? Will it be advertizing this next week?
It makes me sick to see all the good stuff I have developed over the years and to think that the only reason they are no longer used is because of the rules we choose to play by.
I would probably feel better about it if I would just start to bary a time capsule in the back yard at the end of each season to try and forget about it.
My Racing has taken me to many places, yet always leaves me going in circles. 😕February 9, 2006 at 3:45 pm #52482J.B. Olmstead
