ParticipantJust talked with Byron up in the ‘boat. Things are moving along great. He has recieved some additional sponsorship from our friends at Red Bull and it looks like the hay bales and bags are gone, the SKUSA Tech Pro barriers are in! We will be running the track a little differently this year, basically backwards with some slight alterations. This will premit the pits to be expanded along the back straight this year as we are expecting more racers than before.
We are also expecting expanded national media coverage this year. I have talked with a couple of the large national magazines and they are planning on coming to check this event out and do a feature article on us.
It may be just me, but I’m very excited about the future of karting here in Colorado. With a new track coming on line, with new temperary venues coming, our state is setting the standard for karting in the US. Our format that was developed here for the CSC is expanding and is being copied in other states.
Thanks to all the karters here in Colorado for supporting the CSC and Colorado karting. You are making our state the envy of the country!
