InactiveI am considering purchasing a used kart from a racer in California. I will need to ship it to Denver. Has anyone done this? Which shipper did you use and what was the cost/time?
Thanks

ParticipantI used kartship.com to ship a roller from Georgia, cost about $200. They were extremely easy to deal with.
There was a string on this a month or two ago – you could look through the forum history to get some other ideas.

InactiveI just shipped my kart from San Diego to Denver. I used Kartship.com. It ran me $185. Keep in mind that the kart must be packaged on a pallet and contrary to what kartship’s website says they do not fit on a standard size pallet. Also had to do some disassembling, like removing steering wheel, pods, tires, ect to make it work.
Another point is that price was commercial location to commercial location. My understanding is it is significantly more if going and coming to residential address. A loading dock or forklift greatly facilitates things also, as we were responsible for getting it on and off the truck.
They were fast though. It was picked up the same day I placed the order and I received it 2 days later.
Good Luck

InactiveThanks for all the feedback – I should have searched the archive myself. I got a quote from kartship.com for about $180 from LA, CA to Denver.
