InactiveOkay track owners we need your schedules so we as karters can figure OUR race dates.
Let’s see those schedules :idn: , now that CRE and the CSC is set.

ParticipantWhy bother, with a 9 race CSC, club racing is dead.

Inactivedon’t understand Doug.
CRE has the R-max, IMI has their club series (10 dates). If you mean participation at all these events—well we have to market this crazy sport!!!!!

Back to one of my basic things about karting. Most racers have enough time and money to do 10 events in a year. If the CSC takes up 9 of those and since the CSC will be the biggest events this year, who will have the money and time to do club races?
Going to 9 races is short sighted. Look at it from another point, if a racer wanted to do RMax challenge, he/she needs 4 punchs. That means we now add 4 more races to the nine. Something has to give. There just not enough weekends to do it all. You guys were wondering where everyone was last year for club races by seasons end, you will be really wondering this coming year.

InactiveIt’s been kind of funny to read these posts about too many events for this series or that track over the past year we’ve been involved out here.
I guess I just grew up differently. Being involved with the Saturday night stock car tracks all my life, you raced every chance you got. Every weekend, and sometimes 2 or 3 a weekend. Friday night at one track, Saturday night in the next town, And again Sunday afternoon at a different track in a different town if the thing was still in one piece or you could get repairs done before qualifying started at noon.
I know life is alot busier for most now a days, with multiple kids doing multiple sports, but I really don’t understand those of you whose livelihood depends on kart racing complaining about too much racing!Brad, JB, & Angie, Taylor and I already have plans to be at ALL IMI club races, all Action events for Jr.1, and atleast 8 of the CSC, only missing the first GJ due to a prior engagment that was set a long time ago.
For most of you I hear talking about your future plans in the big car racing world, you better prepare yourself for having to do more events at more tracks than I see the karters doing today in CO.

ParticipantRuss,
I have agree with you. I was believing that we were filling up the summer, and at the meeting, everyone wanted more races.
It is going to be a fun, race-packed summer.
