Hi All,
The BMW club has asked people to help spread the word on a very worthwhile effort they are involved in — to teach kids some of the basics of car control. Here’s a link to their website with more details:

The event is May 19th. If you have any teens, or have friends with teen drivers, you might want to look into this. Seems like a great idea and certainly a great thing for the BMW club to promote.
Even if you don’t have any teens, this is absolutely something we all want to promote. The more we are surrounded by trained, attentive drivers, the less likely we are to be crushed by some inattentive yo-yo talking on the phone, eating, and rockin’ out while behind the wheel of a 6,000 pound SUV that can’t get out of its own way on a good day.
