    Mike,

Where did you get the support? I bought one from Speedquest, but it sounds a bit different from the one you describe. I think it cost a few bucks more, and it supports the end of the starter near where it bolts to the engine, rather than the far end. I recently saw a support–on a Japanese web page–that sounds more like what you describe, but was told that it’s not a official Rotax-approved part (for those who care about such things).

I bought the same one as Joe, from Speedquest.

I’d like to see a picture of this bracket….

See 10th image down on this URL (which is in Japanese). If you let your mouse slide over it, the image will change to show the bracket as its mounted. Looks pretty cool to me….

I also like the jet holder on that page–anyone know where to find one of those?

    Thanks for the link Joe.

Looks like a good support. Could actually use that AND the bracket from speedquest for ‘maximum’ starter support. 😆

Converted to US $, its $9.

You can get a jet holder from Prospeed at http://www.prospeedkartsports.com/components.html

They have some nice Rotax accessories!

it looks like the japanese one you show. I haven’t recieved it and should have it either today or tomorrow. It goes over the “nipple” at the end of the starter housing but I don’t think it has the padding that shows on the japanese website. By the way it is official, at least that was what was told to me.

I’ll keep you posted. Vito says he has a support too.

More later… See you all at IMI sunday? 8)
