OK, I’m putting this 11-tooth clutch sprocket on, for the first time, for Bandi. It?s the small one without a needle bearing. What kind of grease should I be using?

I have TriFlow but I’m not sure how well it will hold up. Any opinions?

The only place I used an 11 tooth was at Steamboat last year and I just used the same bearing grease that I use on the rollers. I can’t remember exactly but I seem to have a recollection that someone used tri-flow and it broke down, got on the inside of the clutch and caused slipping. Whatever you use, use only a little. Remember that most of the time that bearing is not being used as the clutch is locked up.

I use white lithum grease. Like Duff said, use only a very small amount. The only time its spining is when you first start. After that, its locked up.
